It has been my dream car since my childhood. The only thing that's preventing me from buying a used t-roc is the uncertainty of parts if any replacement is required in the future I've test driven it and I did like the way it drives however, I didn't love the way it looks unlike t-roc or polo, which was a letdown and the missing features which came as standard earlier. The options that are on my list are as follows: I like to drive and love the extra torque that's available whenever the need arises for that sudden burst of power for quick overtakes which Polo GT offers, so I'm looking for something similar (AT). My brother owns a Polo GT tsi (2015) and I just love the way it drives. I've also owned a Honda City VX manual (2019) however, sold it within a year as the bumper was getting scraped on two places on my way home because of the lower ground clearance. I'm in the lookout to upgrade from my Honda Amaze CVT (2018) to a SUV/crossover under 25 lakhs OTR. Hyderabad market seems be pretty expensive when we come to preowned cars. Considering a Sonet with TC, will schedule a TD. No longer considering VWs due to interior quality as mentioned by you. Scheduled a TD for XUV 700 D AT, but the general waiting period is a let down. You would most probably have to spend around 40 L after 4 years for a similar car, considering the way the market is going,įortuners and so on can be bought today in the pre-owned market for 30 L and could be worth considering.īut do remember that Luxury cars come with higher maintenance and service costs too and be ready for that when you purchase one. If you are looking for a smaller city car now in the 10L to 14L range then you can choose from a plethora of sub 4 metre SUVs and hatchbacks, the Venue/Sonet, i20 (all in DCT or in 1.5 Diesel) are options worth considering. If you are looking for sedans, the new Hyundai Verna Turbo DCT is an option worth considering too. If you are spending 30 Lakhs today for a new car, the best option would be to go for the XUV700 Diesel AT, The Virtus and Slavia are fun to drive sedans, but lack the interior quality of old Skoda-VW cars, same is the case with the Kushaq and Taigun. It's super smooth and will be more spacious than Brezza.Īs someone mentioned, even the i20 N-Line iMT makes sense to me. Also, face-lift is around the corner.Īs of now, I won't recommend the Elevate as only base variant may come in your budget.Īlso, why don't you try the Grand Vitara? You'll get a variant with decent features in this range. Both petrol engines are quite punchy and offer great performance, but the cabin feels really dated and it has a really small boot. You may feel the lack of power on an open stretch of road but it has adequate power in the city. It's perfect for the city and a lot of kit for the price. I would recommend you the Brezza ZXI from the list. It will be better to go for a variant which has atleast 80-90% of what you require instead of going for a base variant and adding accessories. I am also open to wait for any new launches.
